STORIES WORTH TELLING

IF YOU WANT TO JUMP IN WITH US TO PRODUCE COMPELLING STORIES - READ ON

Help bring independent films to life — one story at a time.

I believe films can shift something in your soul. They can make you feel seen, challenge how you think, or simply give you a moment of beauty in a messy world.

I've directed and produced films that have played at festivals and moved audiences — but these stories only come to life when people like you believe in them too.

If you're someone who loves storytelling, and wants to be part of something meaningful, you're in the right place.

I'm currently developing a new slate of original films. Each project is fueled by collaboration, artistry, and a deep respect for the audience.

With your support, we can fund independent productions outside the Hollywood system and keep creative control where it belongs: with the storytellers.

We can make short films very quickly and get them into the film festival rotation, so if making short films like “GEORGE” is interesting to you, please reach out as well… We have multiple short film scripts that can be SHOT and RELEASED this year!

PROJECT READY TO GO: LET’S TURN “GEORGE” INTO A FEATURE FILM!

“GEORGE” — The Short Film That’s Dying to Be a Feature!!! George is a short film about a crematorium worker with a passion for baking — and a bigger heart than most. Balancing loss and love, humor and humanity, it premiered at the 2025 Santa Barbara International Film Festival and was shown at the iconic Chinese Theater in Hollywood on opening night at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, showing opening night at the Dallas International Film Festival, and GEORGE will premiere internationally at the Fastnet Film Festival in Schull, Ireland and audiences have all been asking the same thing:
“When can we see more?”

WHY WE ARE EXPANDING “GEORGE”

The short was just the beginning. We’re developing George into a feature film that dives deeper into his world — the family tension, the community, the legacy he’s trying to leave behind, and the sweetly strange way he connects with the living and the dead.

It’s part dark comedy, part Americana, and all heart.

MEET THE FILMMAKERS

WRITERS:

Keith and Kelly Crawford are brothers with a shared love for storytelling that walks the line between humor and humanity. Together, they wrote the short film George, crafting a story that blends offbeat charm with emotional depth — and a surprising amount of cake.

They’re currently writing the feature-length adaptation of George, expanding the world and deepening the characters that first came to life in the short. With backgrounds in both storytelling and real-life experience in the funeral industry (yes, really), they bring a distinct voice to every page — one that’s both tender and darkly funny.

Kelly, a securities litigation attorney in Dallas, and Keith, a former Nike VP and owner of a marketing agency in Portland, previously collaborated in writing a feature length screenplay called The Benjamin that follows a $100 bill from one unique character to the other. Kelly has written four additional feature length screenplays, Ponzi, Dead Justice, The Martyr Among Us, and Nine Scars

DIRECTORS / PRODUCERS:

Aaron and Alex Craig are the creative force behind We Are Films, a New York City–based production company known for its visually striking and emotionally honest storytelling. With a background in both narrative and documentary filmmaking, the Craig brothers bring a grounded, cinematic style to every frame.

Their work has taken them around the world — from capturing human rights stories to crafting branded content for global brands — but at their core, they're storytellers who thrive on authenticity and connection. As co-directors of George, they brought warmth, precision, and an unmistakable sense of heart to the screen, helping shape the unique tone that makes the film so memorable.

DIRECTOR / PRODUCER:

Chris Wiegand, co-producer and one of the executive producers of George (and founder of the Film Company NOBLE LURE), brought this project together because he believed in the story — its strange charm, its quiet soul, and the way it finds beauty in unexpected places.

Chris usually directs and shoot his own projects, but with George, he stepped into a different role. He built the team, helped shape the vision, and spent this season investigating the future of cinema, evaluating distribution models and focusing on long term profitability of film projects.

Now, he’s leading the push to turn George into a feature film. He’s got the right script, the right team — and with the right support, he believes they can make something truly special.

CAST:

Both Adrian Martinez (Renfield, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty) and Angela Sarafyan (Westworld, The Promise) brought unforgettable depth and humanity to their characters in the short — and, if possible, we can't wait to explore their stories even further in the full-length film. Their commitment to George is a huge vote of confidence in the heart of this project, and their performances will continue to anchor the film’s emotional core.
